Jennifer L. Thie, MD

Reproductive Endocrinologist
Specializing in Infertility Treatment and Gynecology

Dr. Thie is a reproductive endocrinologist and gynecologist, who has been in
practice in Cincinnati since 1985. She offers fertility and gynecology services in
her private practice in the northeast suburbs of Cincinnati. Dr. Thie is a founding member of the Bethesda Center for Reproductive Health and Fertility and has provided high tech reproductive services at Bethesda since 1987. Dr Thie received her medical degree from the University of Cincinnati and completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Bethesda Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. She received her fellowship training in reproductive endocrinology at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota and was a staff attending at the Mayo Clinic for one year and a member of their first in-vitro fertilization team before returning home to Cincinnati. She is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She currently is a member of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine, North American Menopause Society and the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. The North American Menopause Society certified Dr. Thie as a menopause practitioner in 2002.

Dr. Thie has been a faculty member for the Bethesda Ob/Gyn Residency
Program since 1985. She is now a faculty member for the Trihealth Residency
Program and has been a leader in the medical community. She was elected
as the president of the Cincinnati Ob/Gyn Society (the second woman to serve
as president) and was president of the local chapter of the American Medical
Women’s Association. She has been active in the community serving on boards
and committees whose focus has been on the important issues of childhood
sexual abuse and domestic violence. Dr. Thie has been named a “Top Doc” by a
survey of Cincinnati physicians published in Cincinnati Magazine multiple times,
most recently in 2010.

Dr. Thie is a Cincinnati native growing up on the west side of town where she
graduated from Colerain High School. She is proud to have been recognized as
an “Outstanding Alumna” of Colerain High School in 1995 and completed her
undergraduate degree at Boston University. Dr. Thie has a love for live music, is
a quilter and a collector of art pottery and antique buttons. She enjoys traveling to exotic places and exploring other cultures with her husband.
